TestTabs are produced and packaged in Canada and sealed in commercial, food-grade containers with moisture control for safe transportation and easy storage.
TestTabs are used for the testing of coolant water to determine product concentration levels. One (1) TestTab tablet is placed in 100mL of distilled water, then swirled and mixed with 10mL of coolant. If the coolant has sufficient additive strength (enough product), the colour will turn from violet to bright blue. A colour darker than bright blue indicates insufficient additive strength, and more product(s) may be required.
As is good practice with any water treatment program, the system in question should be regularly inspected and tested, and supplementary components such as filters monitored and replaced as needed.
