These flex contact dipslides with TSA + Neutralizing / Rose Bengal Agar are ready-to-use devices with two (2) different media coated onto a plastic support used for the microbial monitoring of surfaces and liquids even in the presence of residues of disinfectants, which is perfect for use in conjunction with our water treatment products. As an added bonus, they have an extended shelf life of nine (9) months.
The selective medium allows the isolation and enumeration of yeasts and moulds. The other non-selective medium is used for enumeration of bacteria (total bacterial count).
As is good practice with any water treatment program, the system in question should be regularly inspected and tested, and supplementary components such as filters monitored and replaced as needed.
