As you are aware, things have changed immensely over the last couple of months due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the way we live our daily lives and do business has had to evolve with those changes. The situation has been, and remains fluid, and your willingness and ability to adapt to the “new” way of doing things has been much appreciated. It is important to us to share with you what our plan is moving forward, and give you a snapshot of what the next year will look like with respect to the services that Leasam offers.

Your health and safety, as well as ours, is priority number one. 

The Province of British Columbia has issued guidelines for reopening businesses in their “BC’s Restart Plan”, which takes place in a phased approach based on data-driven decision-making. We have made our own decision that until at least the Fall of 2020, most of our business will be conducted remotely, and any on-site work will be done while following the social/physical distancing measures that have been and continue to be in place. Please understand that as the situation and our understanding of it evolves, this time frame may change.

What this means for you.

In all likelihood, nothing. Regular communication will be done by telephone, e-mail, and the use of other communication technologies such as WhatsApp, etc… For most of you, this will not change anything, and rest assured that standard services such as quoting, system testing, installations, and troubleshooting can still occur, but with social/physical distancing measures in place. Nothing about the rest of your service will change, other than we won’t be in the same room together. We will look to WorkSafeBC for their guidance and directives when it comes to any additional measures we may need to put in place. And, when regular day-to-day business resumes in British Columbia, it will likely look a bit different. We may be spaced out differently, we may have different protocols to follow in workplaces, but we will keep you updated on how that all plays out.

In this time of uncertainty during the COVID-19 pandemic, the team at Leasam Water Solutions wanted to take a moment to share with our loyal clients and the public what we are doing to assist at this time.

Leasam is committed to ensuring water systems treated with our solutions in public and private facilities are operating at full capacity, and most importantly, as clean as can be.

The preservation of health and safety for our team and the people we serve is of the utmost importance to us. We pride ourselves on maintaining excellent personal hygiene and a clean workspace, and treat on-site equipment as if it were our own. We have, however, increased our regular sanitation procedures to ensure all tools, equipment and surfaces are free of any harmful bacteria and/or chemicals.

Like you, we are actively monitoring the situation as it develops and taking recommendations from the Federal and Provincial Governments and health authorities as they become available, and in real time. As such, we are treating only urgent system needs at this time, with optional or non-urgent matters to be addressed only when it is safe to do so.

For system maintenance and testing that is to still occur, we will be doing so in isolation with the affected equipment (one person at any given time), with ideally no contact with others on-site. We appreciate your respect of the social distancing measures being put in place to protect each and every one of us.
